CARDINAL MORAN'S OPPOSITION. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. Sydney, May 20. At the Empire League dinner, Sir Joseph Carruthcrs referred to Cardinal Moron's attitude as to Empire Day. He said that England, Ireland, Scotland and Australia each had special days they celebrated. It was good to have a day that all parts of the Empire could celebrate together. The Cardinal should remember that priests who were persecuted in foreign countries always found security under the British flag.
