BIOGRAPH PICTURES. SPLENDID EDUCATIONAL FILM. The fine series of photo plays and scenic and comic pictures screened for the first time on Tuesday night will tie repeated for the last' time at the Theatre Royal to-night. Two pictures of special attractiveness are "The Red Cross Seal" and "The Mirth of Flowers." The former is produced in the form of a dramatic story dealing in a thorough manner with the evils of the Great White Plague in the slums of a great American city. The necessity of fresh air and cleanliness to combat 'the deadly inarch of tuberculosis is clearly demonstrated, and an idea is gained of the awful living: conditions of thousands of human beings, herded together like so many animals. A clear idea is also given of the work of the National Red Cross League in their organised fight against the existing order of life in the slum quarters. ''The Birth of Flowers" is a scientific nature study, showing the birth of all the well-known species of flowers, from bud to bloom, and the time that each variety requires to mature. This picture once more clearly demonstrates the position kinematography is taking in the scientific world.
