SUMMARY AND FORECAST. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The weather summary and forecast are as follows:—Fine weather has prevailed, except in the extreme north and south, where light showers have fallen to-day. The barometric pressure is decreasing everywhere. Moderate to strong easterly winds have predominated in the North Island and northerly in the South. ■Present indications are for freshening northerly winds. Increasing cloudiness and haze precede a change for soraewnat milder and more humid conditions generally. The barometer will probably fall everywhere.
