A XAYAL DIRIGIBLE. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. London, May 22. Three hundred bluejackets launched the Vickers-Maxim dirigible Mayfly, which has been built for the Admiralty. She is 512 ft long and 48ft in diameter, and has as a lifting power seventeen balloonettes inflated with hydrogen. She weighs 21 tons, and during strong winds can be moored upon the water. A WOXDERFUL FLIGHT. Paris, May 22. Garros, competing in the Paris-to-Mad-rid flight, covered 281 miles in 227 minutes, a record. A LOXG-DISTAXCE FLIGHT. Received 23, 11.15 p.m. Paris, May 2,1. Vedrines monoplaned from Paris to Angouleme in 225 minutes.
