Sir Wilfrid Laurier, with the co-opeTation of Australia and New Zealand, who are interested equally with Canada, are expected to bring the matter to a successful conclusion. The ownership of all leading cables passing to foreign control must, make a strong additional reason for that course being followed. It is not believed here that the control of the British Post Office of these foreign-owned cables can Tie more than nominal.
