I The weather summary and forecast are as follows: —Anti-cyclonic conditions now prevail and stormy weather was continued on the East Coast until Sun- j day, after which the weather improved generally and the southerly winds modcrated. Very cold nights and frosts have been experienced inland. The present indications are for moderate to strong easterly winds northward of East Cape and Kawhia. and westerly and northerly winds elsewhere. Conditions are at present somewhat cloudy and changeable on the East Coast, but fair weather, though cold and fojgy at times, will probably prevail. The barometer will probably fall slowly after about sixteen hours.
