On Saturday the Taranaki Rifles'team of eight men fired in the Daily Mail Cup competition, Major Bellringer and Lieut'enant Messenger supervising. Some excellent shooting was done, Sergeant Arnold; Sergeant Southam and Private Humphries making possibles aj; two range.*. The total score was 810 points, giving an average of over 101 points per man. The conditions were good.
