' THE XfIAMOTU CLUB. •The first qualifying round for the Xgamotu trophy, was played on Saturday in brilliant sunshine and a high southerly wind, when 25 players competed, the following qualifying:— ' Grogs Hep. Net W. C. Weston 89 scr. 82 F. S. Johns 85 2 83 T. V. Macka'y i) 8 10 86 A. H. Steeds 90 p. 87 K. Bary flo \o gy .The last two will have to play off for fourth place.
