BUSINESS NOTICES
In catering for sportsmen this seaso» Messrs. Bellringer Bros., Ltd., have made very large importations of the well-known "always reliable Eley" cartridges, for which they report a record sale. Their window displays at Stratford and New Plymouth have been very attractive, and vividly display the many styles in which the cartridges are placed on the market. The list of prices in their new advertisement will be useful. The values in blankets and rugs at the Melbourne are beyond any attempt to compete with it. Nothing talks like price. We would again remind our readers of the euchre party to be held under the auspices of the West End Bowling Club, on Wednesday next 24th inst. There is bound to be a record attendance the prizes being well worth competing for. A great sale—this is what Messrs, Bellringer Bros., Ltd., call their annual cash advertising sale, and they claim, that its success in the past amply warrants the name. This year's sale commences on Saturday, the 27tli inst., and next week's paper will give some idea of the cash propositions they are laying before the public. To provide for the demand in a mediumpriced line White's have just arranged for the delivery of a splendid all-wool line, 42 inches wide, dyed by the Bradford Dyers' Association, and priced at Is lid per yard.
