Arnst has received a cable from Sullivan stating that Arnst's terms to row Harry on the Thames aro acceptable, provided the race is rowed in December. Sullivan asks that the Fogwcll-Barry match be cancelled. This is unlikely. Arnst states that if he defeats Pearce and Barry beats Fogwell, he will go straight to England. Harry Floyd and Jack Arnst are ac- ! companying Fogwell.
Barry is allowing Fogwell only £SO expenses.
