LEAGUE v. AMATEUR GAME. I By Telegraph.—Press Association. Nelson, Wednesday. ] The Nelson Rugby Union decided to write to the Minister of Education complaining against the Stoke Industrial School electing to play the League game and affiliating to the League; pointing out the danger o; professionalism and the hardship inflicted on the boys in their future life by being debarred from amateur football.
