MOA DAIRY COMPANY. (From Our Own Correspondent). The ordinary monthly meeting of the Moa Dairy Company was held on Monday. There were present: Messrs. Jones (chairman), Barford, Brittain, Egan, McMahon, Strachurski, and Williams. After the routine business, Mr. Strachurski moved that the chairman be authorised to sign share applications for those shareholders who had failed to do so.—Carried. The chairman reported that the May output had been sold to Messrs. Bray and Co. for lid. On being questioned, the chairman informed the meeting that the secretary had applied for information re the firm and had received n satisfactory reply. With the chairman's permission, Mr. Buckley here applied for an increase in salary of £2s.—The increase wa» granted. Applications were received and opened for the removal of skim milk from Kaimata factory. Mr. Powell's application was accepted subject to a deposit of £5 as a guarantee for his performance of the contract. Shares as applied for were transferred. In the matter of the Lincoln road creamery, it was decided that as soon as the guarantees for the necessary number of cows and to the signed the building be proceeded with. The manager's report was received. Mr. Denimm was appointed to value the Waitui nssets for the company. The chairman's report on the meeting of dairy employers at Stratford was received in committee. On resuming, Mr. Jones moved that the manager be appointed for twelve months as from Ist August.—Carried. The question of the fence in front of the Ratapiko creamery was left to Mr. Strachurski. The disposal of June butter was left in the hands of the chairman and secretary. A large number of farmers journeyed to the State farm at Moumahaki'on Tuesday. A most interesting and instructional day was spent, and the farmers returned qmite satisfied that their interests were being well looked after at the farm by the Government employees.
