Achim, the deputy who was killed by a land-owner and his two sons, had waged bitter war against Zilinsky. the former Hungarian Secretary of Stale, and his brother. The assassins, who were sons of 'the latter, demanded that Achim should retract his statement, and on his refusal to do so. shot him with their revolvers. Achim being the peasant deputy, the peasants afterwards surrounded ZilinskvV house, and troops were summoned. Thousands of peasants are gathering, eager to avenge their leader's death.
