NGAMOTU CLUB. A mixed foursomes was played on Sat-"i-f!:iy for prizes presented by the president (Air. Wtandish), Alias Brewster and I!. 11. Ward being the winners, with a score of 5 down. The following are the best scores:—Afiss Brewster and Ward (handicap 3), 5 down; Miss Fitzherbcrt and A. Bewley (7), 6 down; Mrs. Glasgow and Glasgow (8), 7 down; Miss Smith and Johns (4), 8 down; Miss Stevenson and R. A. Gray (4), 8 down; Mrs. .folms and Bary (7), 0 down; Mrs. Palon and C. Weston (8). 0 down; Miss Glasgow and Nixon (12), 9 down. The first qualifying round for the Xgamotu trophy will be played next Saturday. TARAHUA CLUB. Entries for a mixed foursomes handieap match for a trophy presented by Mr. T. Furlong will close on the 20th inst. Matches for trophies presented bv tlie president and Mr. R. Cock, will take'nlacc on Thursday and Saturday. The former will lie open to men and the latter to ladies. The handicaps and drawing will be posted on the 18th inst.

An interesting 30-holc match took place recently between W. Weston and E. Bayley and McCormick and Perham. The parties were "all-square" at the last hole, which fell to McCormick and Perham, whose best rounds were two forties, which is highly creditable, everything considered.
