I' SUMMARY AND FORECAST. By TelegTaph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The Meteorological Office issues the following summary and forecast:—Moderate to strong southerly and westerly "winds have prevailed. The weather improved to-day, but rain has fallen on the West Coast and southernmost districts. Barometrical pressure has been very unsteady. Present indications are for cool and changeable weather generally, heavy showers in parts, especially on the West Coast and southernmost districts. Mod-: erate to strong westerly and southerly winds will prooably prevail. Barometer is unsteady, but with a rising tendency in the South, where high pressure is due on Monday.
