By Telegraph.—Press Association. Hastings, Thursday. There was heavy rain during the night and it is still raining. The races have been again postponed, but will be held to-morrow and Saturday, wet or fine. WEATHER CONDITIONS IMPROVING. Hastings, Last Night. The weather conditions are improving, and there is a prospect of a fine day for the races. a Racing appeal. Napier, Thursday. The appeal committee of the Racing Conference heard the appeal of the Tologa Bay Club against the decision of the Hawke's Bay metropolitan committee in awarding the stake in the Bracelet Handicap to Fashion Plate. The club had disqualified Fashion Plate on the ground that she was trained by an unlicensed trainer, and awarded the stake to Preston Pans. The metropolitan committee reversed the decision, and the club appealed. Judgment was reserved.
