!"' SUMMARY AND FORECAST. ■ By Telegraph.—Frees Association. Wellington, Last Night. The Meteorological Department issues the following weather-summary and forecast:—Strong easterly winds and showery weather have heen experienced northward of East Cape and Kawhia, but moderate and variable winds elsewhere. Fogs and -much haze were reported today, but the weather has been fine in most parts of the country. The barometer has fallen everywhere, and especially in the far north. Present indications are for. a falling barometer everywhere. \ Rain is probable northward of Kawhia'and Castlepoint, and increasing haze and cloudiness may precede a change shortly in other parts of the , country. Strong easterly winds are pro--1 bable northward of East Cape and Kawhia, and increasing easterly and i northerly winds elsewhere.
