IMPROVED BUS SERVICES.

A LOCAL NECESSITY. The agitation for electric trams is as indication that New Plymouth and suburbs recognise that the present horsedrawn omnibuses are insufficient. Th# trams will not be here for a while vat, and the idea suggests itself that there may lie somo profit in some other form of locomotion for passenger traffic. Motor 'buses have solved the problem in many places, and there seems no doubt that a good motor 'bus would do well ut New Plymouth. For this reason, perhaps. considerable attention lias, during the last few days, been paid to the fine; motor 'bus which has been running about New Plymouth. This is a roomy vehicle, capable of seating from twenty to twenty-five pasengers, and, considering the speed at which it can travel, should prove very suitable for suburban traffic. Tliis fine omnibus is to be offered for sale by Mr. Newton King at Okato on Wednesday, and is well worth the attention of our local 'bus proprietors.
