THE WEATHER.
SUMMARY AND FORECAST. By Telegraph. —Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The Meteorological Department issues "the following weather summary and 'forecast:—-Very high pressure has ruled in all parts of the Dominion. Fine weather by day and cold and frosty weather at nights have prevailed. The winds have been variable, but' strong easterly winds,are reported in the far north today, with gloomy weather. Present indications are for a falling barometer everywhere and especially in the northern districts. Rain and cloudy weather are probable northward of East Cape and Kawhia, and increasing haze and cloudiness with somewhat warm weather elsewhere. Strong easterly Winds are probable northward 'of New Plymouth and Napier, and increasing northerlies and easterlies predominating elsewhere.
