SUMMARY AND FORECAST. ' By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The 'Meteorological Office has issued the following summary and forecast:— Fne weather has prevailed, and the nights have been cold everywhere. Anticyclonic conditions still continue,' with moderate to strong and variable winds easterly in the far north, and westerly about lovean* Strait. Present indications are for moderate to strong easterly winds ovef the, North Island,, and north- ": erfy and .westerly winds in the south.. Fair weather is probable generally, but the barometer has a falling tendency, in the Boiith, where there are now indications for the rapid passage of a short equally disturbance soon.
