CLUB FORMED AT WAITARA. (From Our Own Correspondent.) A meeting of those interested in the formation of a hockey club was held on Tuesday night, when several members from the Inglewood Club attended, and assisted by giving information. The following officers were elected: President, Air. W. Birdling; vice-presi-dents, Messrs. Buchanan, Beckbessinger, and Rennie; hon. secretary, Mr. Ralph; club captain, Mr. Moore. It was resolved to join the Taranaki Hockey Association, and the secretary was appointed to act as delegate. The following committee was appointed: Messrs. Bird, Dewar, Yorston, George, with the club captain and Secretary. The club's colors will be all white. It was decided to have a game at Waitara, on Thursday, either with teams from Inglewood and New Plymouth, or an Inglewood and Waitara team. A hearty vote of thanks was passed to the Inglewood visitors.

A match will probably be played at New Plymouth on Saturday between the New Plymouth Club and the recently formed Tataraimaka Club. Another new club, has been formed in the Southern division, viz., at Otakeho. Application has been made for affiliation to the association.
