' The Rarawa arrived from Onehunga yesterday morning With 30 tons of cargo, including 3 tons of flour and a small quantity of fruit. THE ROSAMOND. The Rosamond left Nelson yesterday J afternoon for New Plymouth and will hare about 90 tons-of cargo to land to- | day. She'sails after discharging for Onehunga. FLORA TO REPLACE KOONYA. The Flora, which has recently been converted from a passenger vcfsel into a cargo boat, it is understood, will replace the Koonya in the Bluff-New Ply-mouth-West Coast trade. The Flora is larger than the Koonya and has 'tween decks. She is a trifle larger than tin 1 Corinna, and is more powerful, having a horse-power of 1250. Captain W. J. King, who was last month in charge of the Corinna, has been appointed assistant Marine Superintendent to the Union Company during Cuptain. Colin, McDonald's absence in England, where he is proceeding in connection with the company's building programme. Mr. Menzies, purser of the Rosamond, .has been transferred to the Mararoa in a similar position. Mr. Carlyon, assistant purser on the Maori fills the vjM.ney on the Rosamond.
