BIOGRAPH PICTURES. Scenic and travel films arc exceptionally good in the new change programme to be shown at the Biograph Pictures in the Theatre Royal to-night. The cinematograph never fails to matfb yachting and seascape? interesting, so patrons can rest assured that the moving pictures of the great British yachting institution, the (.'owes regatta, will be well worth seeing. The beautiful Italian lakes arc the subject of another film, and the gorgcousness of this semitropical scenery and mountainous grandeur is said to be wonderfully preserved and portrayed in this series. The flights of the Italian hydroplanes—machines that skim the water and take to the air readily when land is reached —are also novel and educational. The programme includes four fine star dramas, of. which "Ave Maria" (Guonod) is the chief. Several other fine" pictures are named in the advertisement in this issue, and besides these there are sundry humorous and other films. This programme will be shown in New Plymouth to-night, and on Thursday and Friday nights, at the Theatre Royal.
