OVER-AWED BY THE TROOPS. Received 3. 12.25 a.m. Paris, May 2. The troops were not hidden, as formerly. Instead, they patrolled the streets in strong detachments and squares, and over-awed a hundred thousand workmen who were holiday-making. A number of minor disturbances occurred, and eighty-one arrests wjere made. Tirteen policemen, twenty-five soldiers and eighty civilians were injured.
