Mr. Samuel, Postmaster - General, speaking at Newcastle, said that the Government lias resolved that the Parliament Bill should be passed unchanged. The One-man-one-vote and Home Kule Bilk would immediately follow. The Parliament Bill would be used to facilitate the very necessary and complete reform of the House of Lords. He said lie was quite convinced that the country would not support a single-chamber Government. Public opinion had become so nervous that conservatism was greatly strengthened at the elections.
