SUMMARY AND FORECAST. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, last Night. The Meteorological Department issues the following weather summary and forecast;— Anti-cyclonic conditions have prevailed, with moderate to strong southerly and. easterly winds. The weather has been cold and changeable, with fair weather predominating,, except in the far north and extreme south, where conditions are still - squally and unsettled. Present indications are for moderate to strong easterly Winds northwards of East Cape and Kawhia, find variable winds, followed by increasing northerlies, ekewhere shortly. The barometer is due to fall slowly everywhere. The weather will probably continue squally and un- " settled in the far north and south, and fair, but with increasing haziness, elsewhere.
