Received 30, 5.5 p.m. Madrid, April 29. The Herald has received a telegram from Memours, in Algeria, stating that the tribes attacked the French column when advancing on Tazza. Desperate fighting ensued, fifteen of the French being killed and twenty wounded. FEZ RELIEVED BY FRENCH COLUMN A GALLANT ACHIEVEMENT. Received 1, 12.30 a.m. Tangier, April 30. Major Bremond's column entered Fez on the 26th, having gallantly fought its way through the rebels.
