Mr. Hughes, referring to Mr. Holman's reported statement that the referenda proposals were not in accordance with the Labor platform, declared that the question of the interpretation of any plank of the Federal platform was exclusively for the Federal Party. Mr. Eolman misunderstood his position. He had not status except as a member of the State labor organisation. WESTRALIAN LABOR VOTE. Perth, April 29. The block labor vote on the goldfields swamped the voting of the coastal and agricultural districts, which were against the proposals.
