WHEAT AND FLOUR. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright Received 28, 8 p.m. London, April 28. Wheat.—Markets brisker, with a good Continental demand, especially German. Cargoes are firm. Two Australian cargoes sold at 34s 3d and a tliirdf u>t 34s 4>/sd. Parcels of Australian Feb-ruary-March shipment 345; April-May, 33s 9d. Australian spot is scarce ai 30s to 375. New Zealand is practically exhausted.
Flour.—Rather firmer, 23s being bid for Australian patents, April-May, and 24s 6d for spot. Oats. —Quiet trade. Gartons, 20s to 225; sparrowbills, 19s (id to 21s 6d. Beans.—New Zealand, quiet, 355. SHEEPSKINS. Received 28, 8.5 p.m. London, April 28. At the sheepskin sales, 44397 bundles of Australian and 3382 of New Zealand were catalogued. There was an allround advance of a half-penny a pound for combings, compared with March. Clothings showed little change, being quoted at par to farthing higher. BUTTER AND CHEESE. Received 28, 8 p.m. London, April 28. Butter.—Flat, -Ornish 112s to 113s. Choicest colonial is scarce. Australian salted 100s to 102s; nnsalted, 104s to 100s; New Zealand salted, .nominally 108s. A fair quantity of inferior was sold to biscuit makers at 84s to 80s. Secondaries, slightly more active, at 83s to 80s., Cheese.—Dull. New Zealand white and colored, 625.
METAL QUOTATIONS. Received 28, 8 p.m. London, April 28. Copper.—On the spot, £53 13s 9d; at three months, £54 6s 3d; electrolytic, £56 ss. Tin.—On the spot, £194; at three months, £lB9 15s. Lead.—£l2 17s 6d; spelter, £24. BRADFORD WOOL MARKET. Received 28, 8 p.m. London, April 28. The Bradord wool market is Ann at full late rates.
