The advisory county committee and the Marylcbone Cricket 'Club have agreed that the side behind in the first innings of an unfinished match shall! score one point. If the sides are level on the first innings the points should be divided. The side losing the toss in a first match shall have the choice in the return match. Yorkshire's proposal that county matches should last two days only was negatived.
