THE MUTUAL ASSOCIATION.
By Telegraph.—Press Association. ' Eltham, tttt Night, llie sixth annual meeting of, the Taranaki Farmers' Mutual Kre' Insurance Association was held to-day. The report showed that the premium income for the year was £1034 10s 7d, being £230 Is 9d less than the previous year, due to the reduction of the rate of premiums. The insurance liability amounted to £212,424, an increase of £22,824. Policies number 801, the general average being about £265, against £262 in the previous year. Fire losses for the year were £164 16s 6d, and tty cash reserve £3068 6s sd, being £6lO / 3s 3d in advance of the previous year. The total increase in assets was £1335 12s 3d.
