It includes massive piers of renaissance style surmounted with a message of greeting, and will be illuminated at night. It will have blue draperies, with the Southern Cross. Lanteri will design the medallions of the makers of New Zealand, Captain Cook's vessel, and the New Zealand Dreadnought. .
