RICHMOND RAILWAY DISASTER. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. Received 28, 11.30 p.m. Melbourne, April 28. The Railway Commissioners report that the total amount of compensation paid in connection with the Richmond railway disaster was £127,200. FATAL BLASTING ACCIDENT. Received 28, 11.30 p.m. Sydney, April 28. By ab lasting accident on the railway works at Wyong a powder man named McDonald was blown to pieces and another seriously injured. A DESTRUCTIVE FIRE. Received 29, 1.5 a.m. Sydney, April 28. A fire to-night destroyed Forbes and Son's furniture warehouse at Camperdown and damaged adjoining properties. The damage amounts to £14,000.
