I The Meteorological Office issues the following summary and forecast:—The weather has been stormy in the south, strong southerly winds with rain, and snow falling on the higher levels. Conditions have been unsettled in the north with rain in parts, but improving today. The barometer has risen considerably in. the south. Present indications are for a rising barometer everywhere, with moderate to strong southerly winds prevailing""generally, cool and changeable weather and showery in parts. There will probably be considerable seas on all the western coast and southwards of €astle-Point.
