A pensioner summoned to testify in the Cork elections petition committed suicide. LORD KITCHENER. London, April 2fi. Lord Kitchener took his seat in the House of Lords as a viscount. ALLEGED INCOMPETENCE. London, April 2G. The Law Guarantee Trust's valuer, Francis Joseph Ronald, sued "John Bull," that paper having alleged his incompetence and that tbe plaintiff was responsible for losses sustained, and that he had only been appointed because he was the general manager's son.
