AN EXCITING TIME

SUBMARINE AT THE MERCY OF THE SEAS. By cable. —Press Association.—Copyright Received 25, 9.25 p.m. Sydney, April 25. The cruiser Edgar has arrived from England with relief crews for the Torch, Sealark and Fantome. The Edgar had an exciting time in towing the submarine C3B from Suez to Singapore. During a heavy blow the tow lines parted, and the submarine was for two days knocking about under her own steam, practically submerged by heavy seas. The crew was put on short allowance. When the weather moderated the towing was resumed.
