TAYLOR v. THOMSON. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Greymouth, Last Night. Mr. Wm. Thomson addressed a crowded meeting to-night in reply to Mr. T. E. Taylor, M.P., when he challenged Mr. Taylor to come to Greymouth and he would come from Wellington, the Mayor to preside, Mr. Taylor to appoint one auditor, and Mr. Thomson to appoint another. The Mayor to announce to the audience the correctness or otherwise of the figures contained in the now famous £IOOO challenge. "If," said Mr. Thomson, "I am wrong in my figures, I will walk off the platform and never say another word against prohibtion. If I am right, let Mr. Taylor acknowledge it."
