SUMMARY AND FORECAST. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The Meteorological Office issues the following weather summary and forecast,:— Rain has fallen in all parts of the country, and streams have risen generally. The barometer stood kt 29.20 at Bluff on Saturday and 'midnight, but rose afterwards, and winds veering by •west to moderate to strong southerlies. Snow fell on the higher levels in the South. Present indications are for cloudy and unsettled weather generally, misty and showery in parts. The winds will probably be variable, with a change to increasing nOrtherlies, especially in the southern districts. The barometer is unsteady everywhere, and is likely to fall again fast in the South after about ten hours.
