Results:— Rous Handicap—Aurofodina 1, Hurtfell 2, Nangar 3. Fifteen started. True Spec and Haze carried the field to the entrance of the straight, where Aurofodina came away and won by a length. Time, 2min 22%sce. Place Handicap—Cadonia 1, Adgio 2, Mil 3. There were fifteen starters. Posaune made the running to the half mile, followed by Loyal Blue, Cadonia, Bridge. Loyal Blue and Posaune were first "into the straight from Cadonia and Mil. Once fairly on the way home, Cadonia shot to the front, and landed a winner by a length and a-quarter, a neck between second and third. Second Steeple—Confederate 1, Nitro 2, Boisdale 3. There were eighteen startert! Broadsword was prominent into the straight, hut Reg shot out below the Leger and won a great race by half a length. Chaste being a close third.
