A BELATED REFERENCE. By Telegrapfc.—Press Association. Chrtetchurch, Saturday Night. A handsome new post office on Ferry road, Linwood, was officially opened by the Hon. T. Mackenzie, Acting-Post-master-General, this afternoon in the presence of a large gathering of the public. In the course of his speech, the Minister, referring to the Hine charges, said serious allegations were made against the Land Purchase Board, but subsequent enquiries had proved the allegations to be absolutely groundless.
