The loan mentioned in the cable is intended for railway works. Received 23, 5.5 p.m. London, April 22. The Queensland loan prospectus has been issued. Six months' interest is payable on July 1, and the loan is redeemable after l!)o<), and finally in 1070. The Daily Mail comments on the length of the term, and states that existing loans will yield more, owing to the earlier redemptions.
