There are a dozen British "people at Fez, including James McLeod and family; Dr. Verdon, his wife and two children; two English lady missionaries; two American missionaries; forty-five Frenchmen; and five Germans. Captain Moreau is forming a party at Mehalla and Alcazar to reliez Major Bremand's Sherarda troops, but Raisuli refuses to allot the Raids' transports to carry supplies to the French. The Government announces that vigorous measure will be taken to re-victual Major Bremond.
