THE FORTHCOMING ELECTIONS. The election of members of the New Plymouth Harbor Board will be held on the 20th inst. dominations closed at noon yesterday, and the following were received by the local returning officers: Combined district of New Plymouth, Fitzroy, and St. Aubyn.-Charlie E. Bellringer, James B. Connett, and Donald K. Morrison (two members required). Returning officer, Mr. p. T. BeHrineer town clerk, New Plymouth. ' Combined district of Taranaki and Egmont Counties.-Newton King, Ebonezer Maxwell, and Richard Price (two em £ e ™,T e 9 uired >- Returning officer, Mr. R. Ellis, Taranaki county clerk. The following were the nominators of the candidates for the combined districts of Taranaki and Egmont:— Mr. King: W. J. Gray and P. O.Sul"van. Mr. Maxwell: C. Andrews, Jas. Rothery, G. W. Browne, and H T. Lysnght. Mr. Price: Geo. Foster, P. P. J.icholls W. G. Orr, E. Vickers, G. Marsh, a. Morton, R. Wells, and J. u Miaughncssy. Stratford a'nd Whansamomona Counties (one representative required).—Mr. McOlugsrage was the only candidate, and was declared elected. Wnimatc County (one representative roqmrwD.-Messrs. W. T. Well* (nominated l.v Messrs. E. Long and .Tno W Snmvden), and D. J. Hughes. j„„j or (nominated by Messrs. J. X. ' (;„„,_ lin. Kkanpokonni, Duncan M. Scott, Kapuni. J. S. Cassidy, Mnnaia. W. H. Le Flemiii!/, Otakeho. and Robert Dunn, Anroa). Both arc sitting members. For the Elthani, Stratford, and Inglewood boroughs (one required).—Xominations do not close until to-dav. 'Mr. C. A. Wilkinson will be nominated, and will probably be returned unopposed. For the Eltbam County (one required) Messrs. ,T. Marx and Swadlin? have been announced ns candidates.
