FOOTBALL
SATURDAY TEAMS. At a meeting held at Tariki last Saturday evening it was decided to form a Saturday football team among country players iu the Inglewood district. It is considered that a fairly strong team can be raised, without interfering in any way with Thursday football, as the majority of those who will be playing were previously debarred from taking part in football owing to the fact that they could not get away from their work at sawmills, etc., on Thursday. A meeting was held at Okato on Saturday evening, when it was resolved to take steps to form a Saturday team. Several players have recently come to the district, and a fair team will probably be raised. The football editor acknowledges rei ceipt of an honorary member's ticket of the Tukapa Club from the actingsecretary, Mr. W. D. Webster. I
