I WEST END v. INGLEWOOD. , The West End Bowling Club jourI neyed to Stratford yesterday, but oil arrival found the weather too bad for play, and, catching a return train, came back as far as Inglcwood. The members of the Inglewood Club rose to the occasion, and gave the West End Club a game. Messengers on bicycles scoured the town for players, others. formed a working bee and got the ground ready for play, while the ladies got material ready for afternoon tea at very short notice. The West End bowlers have to thank the Inglewood Club for a most enjoyable afternoon, considering that a surprise visit was paid to Inglewood. West End were defeated by 22 points. Scores:-' I W.E.
