COOKING SCHOOL FOR THE WIVES, OF FARMERS.

A NEW FEATURE. Pullman, February 21. | In future farmers' wives who happen to be in Pullman on Saturdays may visit the State college and take a lesson in cooking. A series of special cooking classes in the domestic science department is being organised for the special benefit of farmers' wives. The first class was held last Saturday morning and afternoon, Miss McKay," head of the de- , partment,- and Miss Hunt taking charge. i These classes will be along a new line | of work, which will be planned especially to fit the needs of the country women. Instead of a special line of work, each Saturday the women who are in attendance will be allowed to select the line of cooking they would like to take up for the day and which they think will be of the most practical benefit. No town women will be allowed to attend these classes. Each Saturday a luncheon will be served at the domestic science building for the members of the class, so that they will not have to leave the building until their lesson is completed. AD the work will be conducted in the regular laboratory department.
