MILITARISM.
To the Editor. Sir,—T have said that I cannot spare the time to continue this correspondence, but as a parting shot I .suggest that your syllogism, proving! ?) that man will light, be submitted to two acknowledged logicians. Should it' be held to be sound, I will contribute £'2 2s !to Pukckura l'ark. If unsound, then you make the contribution.—l am, etc., BRITON'S NEVER, XEVEK, Etc. [Two "acknowledged logicians" need not be consulted. The truth is self-evi-dent. There are, of course, exceptions. "Never-Xcvcr" is a striking one: .he wouljjj judging him on his letters, rather let somebody else do the military train' ing and fighting. Tiie Korean is a peace-at-any-price man. Ilis present fate would be ours if all of us thought like "Xever-Xever." —Ed.J
