MILITARY OVERCOATS—A BOON TO FARMERS. Since the advent, of those coats 011 the market a couple of years ago they have grown into popularity to such an extent as to seriously imperil the oilskin trade. The coats in question are those supplied to tne British Army by the Imperial Government and after a period of service are called in. and, after being thoroughly overhauled and fumigated under medical inspection, are sold by the Army Stores. The Melbourne Clothing Company has been fortunate enough to secure a splendid lot of the riding coats, with deep capes, all specially selected goods, in most perfect condition, and now offer them for sale at prices hitherto unknown in Taranaki. The coats are of the highest possible grade, made of heavy blue vicuna and lined with best quality red serge. Price, complete with cape and belt, '27s (id; or without cape 23s Cd.
