A STUPENDOUS PROPOSITION. TRAFFIC BETWEEN LONDON AND NEW YORK. By Cable —Press Association—Copyright Received 11, 12.25 a.m. Berlin, April 10. It is announced that a company has been formed, with a capital of £2,000,000, for the construction of Boerner's rigid airships, each with a capacity of 120,000 cubic metres, 775 feet in length, and with from 30 to 100 horse-power motors, a balloon to be divided into 38 air-tight compartments, and the ships to be manned by 100 officers and crew. Each will be capable of carrying 200 passengers between London and New York. A HYDROPLANE TRIAL. Washington, April 9. Glen Curtiss hydroplaned for miles at Sail Lake City, rising from land and water. He drove the hydroplane from the beach into' the water.
