THE TANTANOOLA TIGER

SENTENCED TO SIX YEARS' GAOL. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright Received 10, 9 p.m. Adelaide, April 10. Edmondson has been sentenced to six years' hard labor for killing seventy-six sheep with intent to steal. Edmondson was arrested as the outcome of the discovery of slaughter yard* erected in the scrub, the strong smell emanating from the dead bodies of sheep and the offal leading to their discovery. There was every indication that large numbers of sheep, stolen from the farmer* in the locality, had been killed there, with a view of disposing, no doubt, of the skins.
